Deb Ganley
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Deb joined Montessori Schoolhouse in 2022. Her career has focused on children for the past 25 years, includes teaching middle school and gifted students as well as leading another Montessori school. She was Founder and Executive Director for the Cheshire Children’s Museum.
Deb has an MBA from Plymouth State University and a teaching certificate from Keene State College.
Seeing children’s eyes light up when they make a new discovery is one of her greatest joys. She enjoys quilting, sewing, traveling, walking, and reading.

Kathy Glimenakis
LEAD TODDLER TEACHER
Kathy was one of the original founders of Montessori Schoolhouse in 1989. She served for seven years on the school’s board, and in August 2021 she celebrated her 25th year of teaching at Montessori Schoolhouse.
Kathy adores the toddler stage because so much is happening. She finds teaching young children very rewarding and enjoys watching the children develop friendships and learn to trust and empathize with each other.
Outside of work, Kathy loves to read, walk, and travel.

Tammy Lloyd
LEAD TODDLER TEACHER
Tammy started in January 2022 as a classroom assistant. She previously worked as a licensed nursing assistant in the classroom for several of our students. Tammy has been working with children for over 30 years in many different settings and has a B.S. in Education from Fitchburg State College.
Tammy loves the toddler years as it is amazing to watch as they grow and develop in so many ways.
Outside of work, Tammy enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with her family and black lab.

Zoë Ferrin
ASSOCIATE TODDLER TEACHER
Zoë joined Montessori Schoolhouse in Fall 2024 after working as a preschool teacher with Head Start for over five years. She also currently teaches a Zumbini class at the Keene Family YMCA.
She holds a Bachelor’s in child development from Colby-Sawyer College where she spent her senior year interning at a Montessori school. She loved working with the children there and watching them learn and discover the world around them.
Outside of work, she likes to sing, participate in theatre with her friends, and spend time with her cat.

Kylie Joslyn
ASSOCIATE TODDLER TEACHER
Kylie joined Montessori schoolhouse in the fall of 2024. Previously she worked as a preschool teacher at Keene Head Start.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Granite State College and is currently working on receiving her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern New Hampshire University.
Outside of work, she likes to read, go for walks, and spend time with family and friends.

Sarah Hudon
ASSOCIATE TODDLER TEACHER
Sarah joined Montessori Schoolhouse in the fall of 2024 after working as the Parks and Recreation Director for the town of Hinsdale for the past four years, with previous work as a nanny and in early childhood education settings.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Development from Keene State College, where she interned with Miss Kathy at Montessori Schoolhouse for her student teaching.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Jordyn Rancourt
ASSOCIATE TODDLER TEACHER
Jordyn joined Montessori Schoolhouse in Fall 2024. She previously worked as a classroom teacher at The village Children's Center and has been working with children since 2016.
She holds an Associates Degree from River Valley Community College in Early Childhood Education.
Outside of work, Jordyn likes to walk her dog, practice yoga, and spend time with family.

Evelyn Bernard
LEAD PRIMARY TEACHER
Evelyn joined Montessori Schoolhouse in Fall 2024 after a year of teaching English kindergarten in South Korea. She taught for three years at a Montessori school in Haverhill, MA, and has wanted to be a Montessori teacher since she attended Montessori as a child.
She holds a BA in English from Simmons University, a Master’s in Education from Merrimack College, and an Early Childhood credential from Northeast Montessori Institute.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, spending time outdoors, and being with her family.

Maria Keating
LEAD PRIMARY TEACHER
Maria was a Primary Assistant for five years prior to being an Inclusionary Aide in Chesterfield and teaching K-2 students in their Summer Program.
In fall 2024, Maria returned to Montessori Schoolhouse as a Lead Primary Teacher, excited to help create a classroom that will promote confident, independent learners!
Maria has worked with children for more than three decades and holds a History degree from Keene State College.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys proudly cheering on her two college-aged daughters at their music concerts and, soon, their college lacrosse games.

Susan Carbonara
ASSOCIATE PRIMARY TEACHER
Susan started working at Montessori Schoolhouse in 2015. In 1996, she became a Montessori Schoolhouse parent when her two oldest daughters enrolled (Ms. Kathy was one of their first teachers).
Susan studied World Literature and Women’s Studies at SUNY Oneonta. She has taken several classes in Early Childhood Education at River Valley Community College and worked with children in Keene and Monadnock school districts, but prefers the “follow the child” approach of Montessori education.
Outside of work, Susan loves spending time with her four children, going to the beach, and a good book.

Carol Knutson
ASSOCIATE PRIMARY TEACHER
Carol joined Montessori Schoolhouse in Fall 2024, returning to her roots worked with both toddlers and preschool-aged children in a Montessori setting.
In recent years, Carol has enjoyed sharing great books and fun songs as coordinator of preschool story time at the Fitzwilliam Library. She holds a BA in Elementary Education from Augsburg College in Minneapolis and spent a year studying children’s culture and the humanities in Sweden. She’s also a licensed massage therapist with a local practice.
Outside of work, Carol enjoys long walks, baking, reading, visiting the beach, and spending time with her new grandson!

Penny Abbott-Manton
ASSOCIATE PRIMARY TEACHER
Penny joined Montessori Schoolhouse in the Fall of 2024. She was previously a teacher at Head Start for three years and brings her love of preschoolers with her.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2024 after deciding that an Associate’s was not enough for her.
Outside of work, Penny enjoys playing softball and spending time with her family.
